Inspired by the work of Indiana University’s Black Philanthropy Circle (BPC), an anonymous member of the community has made a $200,000 pledge to match donations to or memberships in the BPC received on or before June 30, 2021.
The Black Philanthropy Circle is committed to improving the recruitment, retention, and support of Black students by supporting scholarships, grants, education, research, programs, and career opportunities and the recruitment, representation, and support of Black faculty and staff. In addition, the circle helps coordinate programs and support initiatives to strengthen the engagement of Black alumni and friends of the university.
The $200,000 match gift will be used as seed money to begin investing in BPC priorities at Indiana University. Just as important, this contribution is a dollar for dollar match, which means when you donate to the BPC by June 30, no matter the amount, it will have twice the impact. Every dollar counts!
Together, we can help fulfill the promise of higher education for all students. It begins with you. Please consider making a contribution or becoming a member of this important cause by June 30, 2021.
